Gun Violence Intervention AppTJS partnered with DC organizations to develop a gun violence prevention and aftercare app which featured the voices and wisdom of people living in DC's most affected neighborhoods.

Storyteller-Advocate TrainingsWe are a go-to trainer and consultant for building storyteller advocate initiatives, providing trauma-informed trainings that help people share their stories for social change. In addition, we help organizations engage in non-exploitative practices when leaning on people with lived experiences.

Trauma to TrustTJS is working with Equal Justice USA to systematize and expand the Trauma to Trust program. Trauma to Trust is a training that provides the opportunity for community members and law enforcement to gather in the same space and hold human conversations that build empathy and understanding around cyclical trauma, policing, and historical trauma. Begun in Newark, Trauma to Trust has proven to change how community and police work together and respond to one another, as well as starkly decrease police use of force and fatal shootings.
